The thing that Mum and I liked doing probably most was going out for coffee and cake - shocker!  We had many a happy afternoon having a drive out somewhere and having a bit of a wander, maybe a bit of shopping but always coffee/ tea and a slice of yummy cake or even a full blown afternoon tea.  

We also liked going to Galley Hill and just sitting looking at the view.  We'd take lunch or cake (!) and a flask and sit in the car just taking in the view.  

I often used to buy her custard tarts when I went shopping - I never did understand why she liked them ...
